It's time to link up with Jamie @ This Kind of Love for What I'm Loving Wednesday!
Here's what I'm loving this week...
I'm loving... this holiday! Happy 4th of July, everyone!!
I'm loving... my hubby for taking such good care of me while I was sick from that awful migraine last weekend...
I'm loving... my rocking-good suntan! I've been using SPF 50 (yes, fifty, 50, five-oh!) all summer long thus farm and I have the best tan I've ever had in my life right now! And no sunburns! Sweet!
I'm loving... Yoplait's Coconut Flavor Greek Yogurt (no, this is not a paid endorsement, but free yogurt would be cool.......). I've loved Greek yogurt for a while, but the coconut flavor is just ah-mah-zing. Yoplait's 4-packs are a smaller serving and are much cheeper than buying individual ones. Plus, last time I was at the grocery store it was on sale for $1.88!! Yum-o!!
I'm loving... Betty Crocker's banana bread recipe. YUM! I've only made it a couple times, but it is SOOO easy and SOOOO delish. It's in my big red Betty Crocker cookbook, but you can also google the recipe... or just click here: Betty Crocker Banana Bread
I made my own buttermilk by combining 1 tbsp. of vinegar and 1 cup of milk.... works like a charm! Plus, you don't waste a bunch of money on buttermilk you aren't going to use.
I also added some walnuts/pecans... not even joking, I picked them out of a can of mixed nuts and then crushed them... hahaha.
I'm loving... Some Nights by Fun. I LOVE the beat... it reminds me a bit of Simon & Garfunkel's Cecelia with the drums and what not. And the bridge/chorus is so catchy. It's one of those upbeat music/downer lyric combos, though, so the video is also a downer...
Take a listen: Some Nights
(fyi, they do drop the f-bomb once towards the end.)
I'm still loving Catching Fire.... I'm doing that thing where you read really slowly to soak up every. single. word. And then you decide you need to reread that page/section because once just wasn't enough and you want more. This book is amazing. Even better than The Hunger Games.
Stopping by from the link-up. Super cute blog!
ReplyDeleteI use SPF 55 by Neutrogena so don't feel so bad! After getting one of the WORST sunburns of my life using banana boat, I will never use that brand again!
